If you enjoy a beer occasionally, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Only take whatever money you intend to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You could have a win following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Keep that account considering that it is as brief as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and wager. The two just don’t go well together.
Leaving your money at home is a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the complimentary alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed brain throws away everything!
Allow me to carry this a single step further. Don’t drink and then go on the internet to play in your preferred internet casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my house, however because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Although I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to blur my judgment. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
