Learning From My Betting Failures

1st to explain why I write this essay. I have been betting on the net or at land-based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever functions. Say you are playing on slot games, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your play. Don’t exceed that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Head out, whether it is on the web or at a land based casino, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.

Remember, wagering should be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, don’t even begin.
